Downloading and
updating VirtualBoss on your computer is a simple 3-step process
Before you start, you might want to print these instructions.
#1. The first thing your computer will
do is ask where to put the file. Save it to your hard disk. When you
save a file to disk, you can direct the file to the folder of your choice. The
easiest method is to accept the folder your computer chooses for you. It is
a good idea to write down the folder name.
#2. Once the download is complete,
make sure VirtualBoss is not running. After VirtualBoss is shut down, click you
way to
the file vbsetup.exe with Windows Explorer or other similar program. Then double-click
on the
file to start the update. From there, follow the on-screen instructions.
For more detailed
instructions on this step, read below on.
(READ THE FOLLOWING ONLY IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH STEP #2 ABOVE)
1. Make sure VirtualBoss is not
running at the time. If so,
2. Open Windows Explorer (follow steps a, b,
and c). (a) Click Start
at the bottom of your screen (b) Click Programs (c) Find and start Windows Explorer in
the program menus
3. Navigate to the directory where the file was saved. (see
next section if you are having trouble finding your file)
4. Double click on the file you just downloaded, (vbsetup.exe). This will
start the update process.
5. From there, follow the on-screen instructions to finalize the update.
(READ THE FOLLOWING ONLY IF YOU
ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH STEP #3 ABOVE)
A. Go to Start (at the bottom, left
corner of your screen ); then Find; then Files or Folders.
B. Type vbsetup in the box where
it asks for the name. Make sure to look in C:\
C. Make sure the box that says "Include
subfolders" is checked so it will search your entire
hard-drive.
D. Hit Enter or click on Find
Now. The computer will then search and find the file.
E.Double click on the file
found, (i.e. vbsetup.exe). This will start the update program.
F. Follow the on-screen prompts. After this
step, the
update to the latest version
of VirtualBoss
will be installed.
