you can set up a website to view your task list from anywhere. It is
secure and very easy to use. All you need is a web browser at your remote
location and you can view your task list from anywhere. It is available to any
internet connected computer, including Windows, Mac, and Linux. It is even
available via your phone. If you make a change remotely it is available to
everybody in the office immediately and vice versa. You can grant users
full access to Tasks, Jobs, and Contacts, or view only access to just their own
tasks. Its a very good system and comes for free with any purchase of

Desktop Options
With a remote desktop service, you can access VirtualBoss on your computer, just
like you were at the office. This also allows you to run any program on your computer
just like you are there. These systems are very handy for you to use, and the
people you trust, but are not very good for giving people limited access to
information. In general if somebody has your user name and password they will
have complete access to your computer. In any case they are very handy and may
be just what you need.
In the remote
desktop category there are 3 options that we recommend.
Our favorite
is provided by www.Logmein.com
They have an easy to use system that is reasonable in price, easy to use and
very powerful. They have a system called
www.logmeinfree.com . As the name implies it is completely free of charge.
If you want more features you can try Log me in Pro for 30 days for free without
giving a credit card. After that prices start at about $6 per month.
Another system that
is popular is GoToMyPC.
This system is also very good, and easy to use. A free trial is available. The
downside is they do not have a free product, there trial requires you to give a
credit card number, and its more expensive. There prices start $10 per month,
but you have to do some negotiation to get their best price. If you do not mind
spending a little bit more money this is a good system.
You can also set up a Windows
Terminal Server or Microsoft Remote Web Workplace. This requires expensive software and
advanced technical expertise
to set up and maintain. These systems allow you to grant multiple people remote
access to any program you want to. You can even give 10 people access to
VirtualBoss or any other program you like at the same time with only 1 server.
For a business wanting to grant several people remote access to VirtualBoss it
is a great solution. If you do not have any hardware or software yet, you can
set up a very good system starting at about $5,000. This includes
good hardware, software, and consulting. Unless you are very advanced with
computers you will probably need help keeping a system like this up and running.
